Racoon, ridden by Franka Loos came fifth in the 2022 Young Horse World Cup (WCYH) five-year-old final. Achieving a score of 8.82 points (8.5 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.6 for canter, and 9 for suppleness and future promise).
Following the WCYH, where Racoon represented BWP, he was acquired by Lövsta Stuteri. Since 2023, he has been one of the most popular breeding stallions in Sweden.
Racoon has competed successfully up to Intermediate I and did his international CDI1* debut in Wellington in January 2026.
Racoon`s first offspring are light and elegant with a good register of gaits. He´s also got his first approved son that was Champion Stallion at the BWP 2024.
Racoon`s sire Hero is an approved stallion by BWP and AES and competes at a national level. His dam Sarina has an approved half-brother, and a full sister with merits up to Grand Prix level. She has several offspring who compete both in jumping and dressage.
Sarina`s dam Barina has many top offspring of whom Tarina, ridden by Katja Gevers, is the most well-known in dressage. Barina is also the dam of Untouchable (160 jumping horse ridden by Leon Thijsson). Untouchable has many talented offspring including the phenomenal Explosion W, (the Tokyo 2021 Olympic gold medallist with Ben Maher in the saddle), and the Grand Prix horse Ideal (ridden by Sven Rothenberger). She is also the granddam of the KWPN stallion and two times Pavo Cup winner Imposantos (ridden by Bart Veeze).
Racoon`s granddam Saranka V is the full sister of the Belgium Grand Prix horse Aranco V, ridden by Isabel Cool. Out of this performance line also comes the Grand Prix horse Raranko, several dressage horses competing the smaller circuits, and the jumping horse Varanka SFN (ridden by Timothy Hendrix).\r\n\r\nThe grandsire De Niro`s influence on the modern dressage breeding is well known, the offspring having excellent rideability.
